Hello! I read your essay on CoJ and immediately bought the book. I’m a fellow parent with EDS (the symptoms of which have leveled up considerably in the last few years) and I am so grateful for your words.
I receved the notice that my copy was shipped today. Can't wait until it comes and I start reading. As a parent who passed her extraordinary struggles onto two of her children, I spent years finding no one to share my deepest concerns with. So, this space is a special bonus in my life.
Congrats on the book launch! I am looking forward to reading it — as the parent of a disabled kid, I spend a lot of time thinking about that word (disabled! is it fair to apply it to him? what about special needs? What about neurodivergant?!?) and also how to show up for him in a world that isn't aways friendly to people who are different. Thank you for sharing your story.
I haven’t gotten a copy yet but I’m really looking forward to reading your book and I’ve loved the couple of interviews with you that I’ve read. Congratulations and hope all of the promoting goes well for you!
the Khalia Times providing the cultural commentary we need - congrats! Ordered my copy! <3

Thank you for ordering it, and I hope it's meaningful to you. Yes, figuring out how to think and feel about our kids' suffering is a big part of it.
